Whether your grooming routine starts with skincare, features trimming, tidying and a post-shave routine, or it doesn’t go much further than occasional shaving, there’s more we could all be doing to get into good grooming habits as part of our commitment to self-care.
Here are ten of our best grooming tips that we think all men should adopt. If all ten tips feel a bit too much in comparison to where you are with your current routine, try to work in one or two and see if you notice a difference in the way that you feel.
1. Create a Grooming Routine
They say it takes just three weeks to form a new habit, so try to make sure you’re following the same rituals every morning as part of your self-care routine, and you’ll soon be in new grooming habits.
This could be as easy as:
- Wash your face (in the sink or shower)
- Trim your beard, using the King C. Gillette Beard Trimmer
- Apply a little beard balm or beard oil
- Get dressed so you’re looking sharp for the day ahead – even if you’re working from home, as it’s all about being in the right mindse
