5I have to be honest i was a little apprehensive when I purchased this product as i had never used one before, turns out its straight forward to use and safe not one nick so far; the razor is reassuringly heavy and made from high quality material and has a great retro look, it gives a great shave and was discounted with the extra blades so great value! I’m so pleased with it I’m looking to purchase a holder / soap dish and brush!
Impressive shave, better than cassette razors
5As someone with coarser stubble, the KCG DE Razor and blades gave an impressive first and second clean shave. The quality of the shave was far better and less aggressive than the Gillette Mach 3 / Fusion /Proglide 5 ranges, for those with more sensitive skin types. Using the KCG DE blades, you can achieve 3 to 4 quality clean shaves / a week's worth of use per blade for coarse stubble types.
Close Shave
5When I first started to shave in my teens I used the traditional Gillette razor. I moved on to electric razors because it was quicker. As a 77 year old I decided to go back to the traditional Gillette razor which gives me a much closer and smoother shave. I am now back in my teenage years. Many thank to Gillette.

5Having recently purchased the new King C. Gillette Razor, I feel compelled to give a review of the overall performance after a number of shaves. The razor handle feels very comfortable in the hand because of its length and weight, but, I do use ground up alum powder for increased grip. Whether it was the preshave or the shaving cream, or very probably a combination of all three items, but, this razor with the King C. Gillette blades performed excellently on a "Three Pass" shave. Now, I do like mild razors, I also don't like to be cut or have any nicks when shaving and this razor delivered an extremely close shave with no cuts or nicks and no irritation. I had bought the razor along with the respective blades for a special knocked down price from the Gillette web site and I can highly recommend that every wet shaver should have this razor in their den.

5Took a gamble no mention this was for everyday shaving . details for this was to trim around beard. i was not disappointed. reviews on you tube were good. so placed order. good quality, nicely weighted .very clean shave arrived on time
Single Blade Razor
5Has to be the most comfortable wet shave razor I have owned. Perfect weight and handle provides the closest shave.

5I brought this razor after seeing a video of a barber in London using one. Definitely be the way I shave from now on. No more electric razors for me!!
Double edged razor
5Great shave and what's good the handle has a great weight to it. So having a beard you can keep to the lines a lot easier.
Good Razor for the money!
5I own a load of safety razors including a number of Vintage Gillette razors and I was so pleased to see Gillette back in the DE Razor game!! Hopefully this is the start of something bigger for Gillette. This razor is a decent quality razor for the price, shaves well and is nicely finished. Would be great to see a razor actually manufactured by Gillette rather than a third party though!
