Excellent Traditional Style Razor
5I have shaved with safety razors, double-edged blades, brush and cream or soap for almost 60 years, using a fortnightly razor rotation over recent years, including TTO Gillette Rocket and Aristocrat along with the ubiquitous Tech. My policy with razors is that they should last at least as long I do! I'm pretty sure that the new King C Gillette will outlast me. It's a nice looking razor, well-weighted, very well-finished at an extremely competitive price. I definitely recommend this razor, both for experienced DE users and those willing to try a more traditional and economical shaving experience. Finally, it's very pleasing to see that Gillette hasn't forgotten its history.
King c double edged razor
5I’d never used a safety razor before and was apprehensive I’d cut my self and what the resulting shave would be like. But having used it a few times now, I’ve not cut my self once, found it easy to use and got the closest shave I’ve ever had and with little to no razor burn which I’ve always struggled with, great shave.
Excellent razor
5Firstly, this razor looks great. It is really well machined and elegantly designed. The King C Gillette embossed logo on the head looks good and not crass. I have never used this type of razor before and I was concerned that it would be easy to cut youself with. It glides effortlessly across your skin, and is quite forgiving in the angle you use. It is the cleanest cutting razor I have used and gives a partcularly smooth shave. I was surprised at how close the shave was, not thinking that I would see an appreciable difference from a standard razor. It is easy to clean and change the blades. Its shape is ideal for shaving around the beard line, but it is also good for doing a full face shave. Considering the quality of this razor, it is priced very reasonably on this site.

5What a fantastic product. This is my first razor of this kind and I absolutely love it. I've always used Gillette razors and this safety razor is amazing, a great close shave and affordable blades.
