So clever
5This razor was a gift for my partner - we love that it heats up and is a very smooth shave. Really impressed with the razor overall and love the charger stand and overall design .
The best gift!
5I got this for my other half and he loves it! completely transforms his shaving experience taking it to a whole new level :) would highly recommend!
Break through or gimmick?
4I was interested in the heated razor starter kit as I always find I run my blade under the hot water to improve my shave, as someone who is interested in technology was eager to try this product. The shave is close, effortless and feels smooth. The heated blade does help with the quality of the shave helping the blade glide smoothly on my face. If this is substantially better than just running the blade under a hot tap between strokes I am not so sure. It does make it easier to shave in the shower. Battery life was disappointing, 18 minutes for 6 hrs charge? Ok this for most men is a weeks shaving but still not optimal. The lack of travel case as part of pack, was also a missed opportunity on a premium item. Which is how I would class this razor. Overall an improvement on a standard razor, in feel in the hand, use and shaving result. Missing a couple of small things that will stop me using this razor every day, more an evolution to my personal grooming than revolution.
Great Product
4This is without a doubt the best razor I have ever used, very egonomic with it being a very simple design. The movement of the blade is the most flexible I've used, a thick handle provides lots of support and you can get lots of control in your shave. Had to move the angle I pressed with the razor once I realized the heat was transmitted at the bottom of the face, may require getting used to slightly. Nice heat, just the right amount in my opinion, looks cool, charges very easily with magnetic charger holding it in position. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is the price gap between regular Gillette handles. The heads however are similarly priced. My recommendation is for people that enjoy shaving, as you will appreciate the design features of the razor.
Amazing!
5This was a gift for my other half, he absolutely loves it and says it’s the best one by far! It’s heated feel gives him a hot towel experience, he has recommended this to many family and friends! If you’re looking to purchase as a gift I’d also recommend just by his experience and opinion! He isn’t one to usually compliment a gift of mine, but this time round he sure did!
Comfortable close shave
4Purchased this as I have seen quite a lot of hype about this product. Friends have said it feels like having a genuine hot shave in the barbers. When I first put it to my skin I thought that it would be too hot for me. However when I did start shaving I felt the soothing effects that the shave was giving me. The product did feel like a well built quality item. I like the magnetic attachment to the charging base and it fitted into my shaving charging socket in my bathroom. My only issue was the price I did feel it was a bit steep. Especially as it only contained one spare razor blade. Overall though it was a lovely close shave.
Looks and feels great, but a bit pricey
4The look of this product is great, really premium. The heating element is novel, and the shave good. The premium pricing is a bit steep, even for such a good looking addition to the bathroom
Love the heat!
5As a person with sensitive skin I hoped this would be a worthwhile investment. Pleased to say it was. The heat makes all the difference, making my shave much more comfortable than normal as well as closer. Expected it to be heavy, but its no heavier than any premium razor. Its changed my shaving experience for the better
Surprisingly good
5The experience was surprisingly good. The shave was the best I have had so far. I am a Mach3 user and have tried different ways of shaving: hot water rinse, hot towel, shower shave, etc. and I must say a heated razor has been the best so far. In general, the razor shaves much better than a Mach3, which is to be expected for the price tag, of course. However, what I really enjoyed and what sets it apart is the constant warm feeling when shaving. I am not exaggerating when saying this is the best experience I have shaving with a razor. The heat obviously makes it easier to shave against the grain and gives a smoother shave than with a razor even when using cold water to rinse. I recommend you try it; sure it’s a little pricey but it’s worth it when you think this is a device you’ll be using a few times a week.
Good razor
4The razor gives a clean shave and the heat is an added bonus. It is possible to turn the heat to a higher or lower setting and this feels nice on your skin when shaving. The blades give a smooth shave and the handle of the product has a premium feel about it. The box it comes in gives you a wow factor as soon as you see it. The price of the product is the only sticking point as it is an expensive product for a manual razor.
