We shifted most of our premium refillable razor line-up¹ in North America and Western Europe from plastic to recyclable paper box. In doing so, over the last three years we have eliminated approximately 1094,000 kgs of plastic (1094 metric tons) globally, the equivalent of over 110 million water bottles.2

To give materials a second life, we incorporate more recycled and recyclable materials into our products and packaging. Our newest introduction, GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar is offered in a recyclable paper box made from FSC certified material.

We launched the first razor recycling program in partnership with TerraCycle in the U.S. in 2019. This partnership aims to improve the collection and recyclability of razors in general - not just Gillette but all other brands’ razors too - in more locations around the world.
