Recommended to me by a wonderful care worker looking after my advanced-Alzheimer’s Dad. I’ve always nicked my skin and more than not bled each time I’ve shaved whether wet or dry. I simply couldn’t believe the smoothness left, the lack of soreness, and no blood the first time I shaved with this. Same the eight subsequent times so far. Without any doubt the very best shave I’ve had in the 55 years since I first had the youngest tendrils to remove!!
Wilkinson Sword were fine until I used Gillette then they weren’t. I discovered the difference between a scrape and a glide plus I didn’t need a transfusion after ..,, I can get blades for my old Gillette vibrating razor or my cosy heated hot rod …. Quality moisturiser that actually works, shave cream etc all high quality… I can get all this in one place on line plus one or two treats 😁. Thank you Gillette … I’ve only been using Gillette for 40plus years but hey that’s just me 😂😂😂
I have been using Gillette brand for years. Recently been using the Proglide power razor. Decided to get Gillette Labs heated razor while its on offer. It's really good
great shave but i have now purchased close on 10 razors and eventually something goes wrong and the razor no longer accepts any charge so you asre left with a great razor but no heat . even gillette can no longer repair them so please retain proof of purchase for when your razor needs to be returned
I bought one in 2023. The first one failed with a battery issue within a few months. Google it, you’ll find plenty of info about this issue. Long story short, I’m now on my third stick, same issue every time. Awaiting a replacement again. I cannot recommend it due to the aforesaid reliability issues. I’ve also been very careful, waiting until it’s fully discharged before charging it every time. Gillette claim not to know about this issue. I doubt that very much.
I quite enjoyed the razor initially, but after a while found the heat made little difference to my shave. The razor fully broke after 8 months of normal use, I hope to return it for a full refund.
Nice razor hot üî• shave I really like it
I had liked the closer shave I receive with the heated blade (after a 1st shave with a safety razor), it felt closer than anything else I have used - I have found a single type or blade never gave my morning shave the finish I required. My heated razor has stopped holding a charge and I have only had it for 2 years - I do not expect it to last forever and there to be some decrease in the battery life, but this is unacceptable as something I paid £200 is now not fit for purpose. You could say that the handle can still be used with the blades, but I have tried this and feel I get an inferior 2nd shave and it is getting no where near the required smoothness, or that I get from a Fusion razor. If you are happy to spend money on something that will only last for 2 years, then I would suggest, but to me this is not value for money
I must admit that I was a bit skeptical at first. However, I was wrong. I already own the Gillette Labs standard razor which gives good shave but the heated razor is something else. I have it set at 50 for heat and find its better to shave a little slower to give the heat bar time to warm the skin. The results for me are personally better for a really close shave. I suppose its down to personal choice. Perhaps a little expensive but a worthwhile investment. Good luck.
I had two faulty razors, both returned and replaced. I was told to BUY a replacement, before a refund could be made. Very odd!
