Is the Gold Edition Gillette Labs with exfoliating bar set new and suitable for both wet and dry shaving?

The Champion Gold Edition of the Gillette Labs with Exfoliating bar set is new to the Gillette Labs family but it operates in just the same way as every other product in our exfoliating razor range. That is to say that this particular Gillette razor bundle is only designed for wet shaves. You'll need a shaving cream or foam to get the best out of the exfoliation bar as well as the five blades in the supplied cartridge head. Gillette Labs shaving gel is ideal for lubricating your face before shaving with an exfoliating razor which is why our rapid-foaming gel is included with this Gillette razor bundle.

How do you use the Gold Edition Gillette Labs with Exfoliating bar razor?

Trim your beard, if you have one, to remove hair of excessive length. Next, apply the shaving gel supplied in the Gillette razor set liberally on your stubble. Hold the razor's handle in such a way that the strokes you make work with the grain of your hair with the exfoliating bar passing in front of the blades to ensure they make optimal contact. Use small strokes and rinse the blade head frequently as you shave. Afterwards, remember to remoisturise your skin to help its natural moisture barrier to recover. The supplied Gillette Lab moisturiser has an ultra-lightweight formula making it the perfect product for the job.

Is this Gold Edition Gillette razor bundle suited to both facial and body grooming?

No, it isn't. Like all Gillette Labs products, this particular Gillette Labs pack has been put together for facial hair shaving only. If you would like a suitable product for body grooming, then there are products available from Gillette including those in our Intimate Grooming range that would be worth checking out instead.

Can I travel with the Gillette Labs Champion Gold Edition bundle?

In common with other Gillette Labs products, the Champion Gold Edition razor works with cartridge-based refills. This means you can usually take them anywhere with you, even on a plane as hand luggage.
