Gillette Men's Shaving Gels

Yes, Gillette shaving cream, foam, gel and aftershave products are suited to all skin types. Whether you have dry skin or oily skin, our shaving gels for men will help to ensure a smooth shave. Don't shave on broken skin or skin that's still recovering, however, good advice whichever Gillette products you happen to use.

Make sure the Gillette shaving gel for men you have chosen foams into a rich lather before applying to your face. Shake the bottle to help it aerate once you dispense it. You can also work it with your hands a little before applying it to your face. When you shave, work in the direction of hair growth whether you use a Gillette Labs razor or any other type. If you need to shave over a patch of skin again, apply a little more men's shaving gel to ensure smooth results.

This will depend on how much of your face you shave and, in some cases, how coarse or long your facial hair has become. Dispense as much Gillette shave gel as you need to cover your face but don't be tempted to skimp because this can mean your razors aren't offered sufficient lubrication. On the other hand, you can always add some more shaving gel, if needed.

Gillette shaving gels are suited to all razor blade types. All of our men's razors, for example, are compatible with our shaving cream for men. Once your shaving gel, including all Gillette Labs shaving preps, has lathered sufficiently, it is good to go. Simply work it into a lather and apply it to your clean face. That said, if you want to leave it for a minute or two before shaving, then that will work out fine, as well.
