[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive ( free sample).] recently tried this razor and the overall build quality is good, but the blade did not feel as sharp as I expected. It still shaves, but I had to go over the same area more than once to get a smooth result. The handle is comfortable to hold and the design looks nice, but the shaving performance could be better. It’s an average razor, but I expected a closer and smoother shave from a Gillette product.

It's handling is easier, charges well and works amazingly when precision is required. Why im giving 4 stars is just because I believe there could be more combs/attachments for varying hair lengths and secondly you need to change trimmer positions for precision cuts and sometimes its bit difficult. Overall very nice experience and skin doesn't get hurt, no cuts no blood. Smooth shaving and trimming.

It is comfortable to hold and easy to manoeuvre, making it simple to trim without leaving any hair behind. I particularly noticed the difference in harder-to-reach areas, such as along the jawline, where I sometimes miss hairs with other trimmers. The face combs with the predefined cutting lengths help keep the trim even across the face and body, which makes grooming much easier. Overall, it makes grooming quicker, easier, and more precise.

It’s small enough to take away and generally looks like a smart quality tool. It comes with a variety of attachments making it the perfect tool for body hair which I used it for. As a bald man I tried the shortest setting on my head but it would have taken a while but it could have done it. I feel on my beard it would have been okay to use in an emergency but personally I prefer a tool where the comb increments are smaller. (0.2 each) I particularly like how the direction of cutting is both ways making it great for body hair trimming. I experienced no nice or cuts. Overall it’s a good product

With the blade lasting upto 6 month, it gives more freedom than Disposable blades. Only downside to it was the length of time to get a full charge on it for it to last a significantly low amount of time. Otherwise a great product. Definitely would recommend giving it a try.

The design looked sleek, neat and quite innovative, especially as I hadn’t used a trimmer like this before. However, I did notice the charging port is exposed, which made me question its waterproof capabilities. I also feel a product like this should include a spare blade, and when I searched online I struggled to find replacement blades available. The trimmer charged quickly and was very easy to use. It felt lightweight and comfortable in the hand, with good control. It comes with four guards, including one designed for body grooming. I used the trimmer on my face, torso and groin area and after a few uses I got a better feel for how it performs on different areas. I found it worked best on my torso and chest where it handled larger areas quickly and made grooming straightforward. On the face, however, I found it harder to achieve a neat and even trim and it didn’t feel effective enough to rely on as my sole facial trimmer. The shave itself felt sharp and powerful and moved smoothly over the skin, even when used on wet skin. That said, I did experience some uneven areas, redness and a few small nicks, meaning I had to go back over certain areas to even things out. Overall, the trimmer is easy to integrate into a routine. The battery life is excellent and it removes larger amounts of hair quickly, so the initial trim is fast. However, achieving an even finish took longer than my usual method. While I like the concept and ease of use, I was a bit disappointed with the final results due to the uneven trimming and occasional irritation. I would recommend it for someone looking for a quick and simple body grooming tool, but perhaps not for very precise trimming.

Smooth shave with no irritation, providing a very quick & effortless shave, leaving me feeling like I've just left the barber shop!

I was very excited to see my package arrive with my stater kit inside. I already own a Philips one blade which my eldest son has kindly claimed, this gave me an option to compare both of them. Unboxing The box looked suitable sized which is what I like to see as I hate wasted space and over use of packaging. The outer sleeve has a good color scheme and not overly shiny or overly gimmicky. The information doesn't feature outrageous claims or silly stats. The inner box tight and well laid out. Also without extra packaging and I didn't need a degree to get the product out the packaging. Accessories Not a lot in the box but all needed and all to the point. 1x 3mm "body" blade cover 1x 1mm blade cover 1x 2mm blade cover 1x 5mm blade cover 2 pin Power supply Head attachment Manual The most disappointing part was the power supply. It is the traditional 2 pin plug. This is where the Philips OneBlade has the edge as it has a USB making it more versatile. Why not include a usb attachment or a 2 and 3 pin attachment. The blade covers feel a little flimsy but most of all during use they do their job perfectly, combing through hair easily and they are nice and secure. Comparing to the Philips these are far better. While the Philips has 1 adjustable head it can pop off easily and also sometimes the settings can slip. The body The fusion itself is weighty and not in a bad way. Feels like there is some quality in it and the design has been considered. The diameter for me is perfect and the grip handle make the shaving experience feel precise. Another win for the fusion as thin light plasticy feel of Philips just feels wrong and like it will snap. Simple LED light for charging and a on off button, simple and effective. When attaching the head there is a notch system that makes the process easily understood and the head feels securely attached. The Philips in this regard uses a spring load release system which is even simpler and works, a little too well as older heads have popped off during use. The shave I always have low expectations when it comes to electric shavers. The fusion is very much a mixed bag, but mainly positive. Trimming was good and close. The shaver felt like it had a good weight distribution and importantly was close without tearing my face to shreds. Beard/body shave I shaved a small area on my body and reduced the size of beard down to a 5 mm length. As mentioned the earlier the blade cover was effective and fit securely. This was by far the best trim I had in a long time. Comparing to the Philips, I much prefer the fusion. I stopped using the Philips for all the reasons the fusion has mastered. The fusion glides through my hair without pulling. There is no snagging. Hair is cut evenly and the ease bends to curves easily and in some case there is no needed to pull silly faces to try and get the best surface to cut on. My face didn't feel itchy or sore after the reduction shave. The body shave/hair removal. See the section above about the actually shave but the finish was well not as close as I would like. There is still some stubble left so don't expect a clean shave and be prepared to get out a razer for a true soft touch finish. However this still out performs most shavers, not the Philips (just), but everything else still far behind. Final verdict The fusion has converted me and this will be my razor of choice of trimming and tidying up. The sleek feel and ease of use makes this a great improvement over the Philips OneBlade and other electric shavers. It still has the close shave issue but trimming, edging and top ups this is a great bit of kit. Only improvement is to include a different charger and if the heating function in other razors is beneficial, then add this to the all in one. PS. My OneBlade is dead to me now
