The trimmer feels sturdy but not too heavy, and the grip is surprisingly comfortable even when your hands are wet. I tested it mainly for chest and underarm grooming, and the trimming was smooth without pulling or snagging hair, which is usually my biggest concern with body trimmers._x000D_ _x000D_ One thing I liked was how easy it was to control around awkward areas. The head seems to glide quite well over the skin, and I didn’t get any irritation or redness afterwards. I also tried it in the shower a couple of times and it handled wet use without any issues._x000D_ _x000D_ Battery life has been decent so far. I charged it once when I first got it and it’s still going after multiple uses. Cleaning it is simple too — just rinse it under the tap and it’s done._x000D_ _x000D_ If I had to nitpick, the trimming guard options are a bit limited compared to some other trimmers I’ve used, so if you like very specific lengths you might feel slightly restricted. How about with no attachment, under the arms? That’s usually where the cuts and scratches happen. Not a single mark! Wow. No redness, nothing. Just silky smooth. Hairs cut short too! Nice work. Arms? Check. Chest? Check. Back? Check. That’s the easy stuff. How brave am I feeling? Ok, let’s go for some more intimate parts. Wow. That is simply the BEST pair of trimmers I have ever used for this job. Simply outstanding. Not a nick or scratch using the shortest attachment. The guard ‘teeth’ are close together, so no danger of skin getting caught. Perfect. Really pleased with that. ”¨”¨So, looks great, it’s so easy to use. Light, charges well. Battery lasted for ages, but we will see how long it lasts over time, once it has been used(and it will be used a lot now!). No nicks, cuts, redness or soreness. It just glides so smoothly. Cleans really easily too. Works just as well in the shower, thanks to it being fully waterproof. _x000D_ _x000D_ Several days later? Still smooth. It’s not as short as shaving, but it is a trimmer, not a shaver. _x000D_ _x000D_ Overall? Outstanding so far, thanks Gilette!

It comes with three different combs depending on what you need and also comes with a handy storage bag to keep everything together and discrete in the bathroom. The trimmer did an effective job and didn’t feel at risk of any cuts or knicks. I would recommend to anyone who trims regularly and wants to keep body and face tools separate.

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive ( free sample).] Recieved a few days ago, im pleasently impressed. It gives a smooth trim and feels gentle on the skin, which I really like. It doesn’t snag or pull the skin, so it’s comfortable to use and doesn’t cause irritation._x000D_ However, the motor isn’t very powerful, so it can struggle a bit with stubborn or thicker hairs. Sometimes you have to go over the same area a few times to get everything._x000D_ Overall, it’s a decent trimmer if you want something that’s smooth and quick it may not be the best choice especially for coarse hair.

Some of the well-known competitors pride themselves on offering a “no nicks” experience, but this Gillette trimmer delivers exactly the same — a very smooth trim with no nicks or irritation at all._x000D_ _x000D_ Not that it always matters, but it’s also a smart-looking trimmer and feels great in the hand. The design is clean and it’s comfortable to hold, which makes it very easy to use._x000D_ _x000D_ The only minor issue was that it arrived without any battery charge, so I had to charge it before using it. That’s not a huge problem, but it’s slightly unusual as many products arrive with at least a little charge to get started._x000D_ _x000D_ Overall though, it’s very practical and performs exactly as you’d want. The reason I’m giving it a 5-star rating is simple — I’ll now be using this as my main trimmer going forward and removing my previous trimmers from the bathroom. That says everything about how good it is.

With the protective cover it is basically impossible to cut yourself which is great but the trim is not very close. No irritation at all and my skin felt fine later in the day too. It fits well in the hand and works fast. Fewer accessories than my face trimmer but still simple to use. I do not know the price so I cannot judge that yet. Good safe option for anyone who is nervous about trimming.

The close shave guard works great. Protecting skin from any nicks or cuts. Also comes with a 3mm and 5mm comb guards for slightly longer grooming. Blades are super sharp and cut the hairs no bother. Can be used wet or dry which is a bonus if short of time in the shower. Handy cleaning brush and travel pouch also supplied. _x000D_ _x000D_ Overall really impressed. Battery seems to be lasting a while. Only charged it once when it arrived.
