Straight out of the box it looked much more premium than some other trimmers I've used before. It didn't feel cheap or plasticky at all. The soft touch finish made it comfortable to hold and the green accent colours gave it a sleek modern look. It definitely looks like a proper bit of grooming kit rather than something you'd hide at the back of a bathroom drawer.I used the trimmer on various body hair areas to properly test it out. It felt very comfortable on the skin and glided smoothly while trimming. I didn't experience any catching or pulling on hairs which has happened to me with other electric trimmers in the past and is never fun. It felt controlled and easy to manoeuvre around different areas of the body.One of the best things was that I didn't get any irritation redness nicks or cuts while using it. My skin felt smooth and comfortable afterwards and even later in the day there was no itching or irritation. Always a good sign when a grooming session ends without any battle scars.It's also very practical to use as part of a normal routine. It's easy to handle quick to use and charges fairly quickly which is handy if you've left things a bit last minute.Compared to other trimmers I've used this definitely feels like a step up in build quality and how smooth the trim is. The only thing I would have liked is if it could shave completely smooth so I could use it on my head as well but you can't have everything.Overall I was really impressed with the GilletteLabs i5 Body Trimmer and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality body grooming tool.

It feels well-made and comfortable to hold and the grip makes it easy to control during use. On the skin it felt smooth and gentle gliding easily without pulling the hair. I mainly used it on my chest underarms and intimate area and it worked well on all of them. The trimmer helped me groom without irritation — I didn't experience any redness nicks or cuts which is especially important for more sensitive areas. After grooming my skin felt smooth and comfortable and even later the same day there was no itching or irritation. I also found it very practical in my routine because it's easy to use quick to clean and doesn't take much time to get a good result. Compared to trimmers I've used before this one felt more precise and gentler on the skin. Overall I had a very good experience with it and I would recommend it to others who want an easy and comfortable way to trim body hair.

Some of the well-known competitors pride themselves on offering a no nicks experience but this Gillette trimmer delivers exactly the same - a very smooth trim with no nicks or irritation at all.Not that it always matters but it's also a smart-looking trimmer and feels great in the hand. The design is clean and it's comfortable to hold which makes it very easy to use.The only minor issue was that it arrived without any battery charge so I had to charge it before using it. That's not a huge problem but it's slightly unusual as many products arrive with at least a little charge to get started.Overall though it's very practical and performs exactly as you'd want. The reason I'm giving it a 5-star rating is simple - I'll now be using this as my main trimmer going forward and removing my previous trimmers from the bathroom. That says everything about how good it is.

[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive (free sample).] My first impression was that it feels solid with a strong motor and very easy to control. I used it on chest and stomach. With the protective cover it is basically impossible to cut yourself which is great but the trim is not very close. No irritation at all and my skin felt fine later in the day too. It fits well in the hand and works fast. Fewer accessories than my face trimmer but still simple to use. I do not know the price so I cannot judge that yet. Good safe option for anyone who is nervous about trimming.

The battery is more than sufficient and it can be used wet or dry. It has a great grip for closer shaves. The trimmer comes with 3 different heads for various parts of the body is easy to clean and has a handy pouch perfect for taking on your travels. Overall a fantastic trimmer.
