The Gillette Labs Champion Gold Razor provides a very smooth shave and feels premium in hand. Highly recommended.

I, like most, have used the same razor for years so moving away is usually very difficult. Lots of reviews on here with different results so not for everyone. I couldn’t find a review for head shaving so thought I’d write one. I used the 2in1 shaving cream and cleanser. First off smelt really nice and went on well, spread nicely too with not much needed to cover my stubbly noggin. I was nervous with first stroke but it felt perfect, moving over my head front to back to start and the up the back and side it felt like it made great contact and not many strokes to get the stubble off. Nice to clean while I was in the shower and ready to go again and again. After I finished I trimmed my beard and shaved face and neck line, again just felt perfect. It’s a bit lighter than my heavy metal razor but that was first use and I’m sure will feel very natural very quickly. While still in shower I got a small bit of cream back on my head as a cleanser and felt really great! Got out and my teenage son said wow smooth head dad! Gave him the handle and spare blade and said go shave that student beard off! 10 mins later a handsome smooth face came out and said love it! Want it! Really impressed with the small travel case and the shower handle holder. Really curious about the heated version so Gillette, if you read this and want to send me one to try out and review then please go ahead! 😁 Overall I’m a baldy with beard and it worked perfectly and can’t wait to try again! Seriously good bit of kit Gillette! And heated one would be nice to try 🤣

I usually use the vibrating fusion model but bought this due to the reviews. Compared to the fusion this is a butter knife and fusion is a samurai sword. This is step backward. The fusion cuts through 3 day growth with ease this scrapes it way across you face. Blades from Aldi and Lidl are better. For daily use this shaver will be adequate but any longer growth and it becomes painful. Get yourself a vibrating fusion model and experience the best ever razor. I got the gold one with case and one blade it was £17 in the sale and that was probably £12 too much.
