I am 47 years old and have never tried an electric razor before. This was a whole new experience for me and one I was a little dubious about. Thought I would give it a try as had heard some good things about this particular razor. Have only used twice, and can say that I am ‘sold’ already. Absolutely love it. My facial hair grows pretty quickly and within 2-3 days I can have a full on beard. I tend to do a smooth finish shave twice a week. Using this is so much quicker and much less messy than a wet shave. It is great that you can use it to go up or down, it is lightweight and offers a good grip for confidence and control. Have not tried for a style/goatee as yet but imagine it will be much easier than a wet shaver. If the blade does last 6 months as per the promise on the box then this makes it a truly affordable shaver. Plus, it is currently retailing at half price! Bargain that I cannot recommend more highly. Why has it taken me so long to discover the ease of an electric shaver.

I though this item was alright doesn’t seem to perform as good as the Phillips one blade but does what it says on the book no complaints for performance

I am extremely pleased at this product and it’s ease of use! There are several combs for different hair lengths and the trimmer glides over like nothing and does the job perfectly! Very glad I got to review this as it is the perfect trimmer for me! Highly recommend to all!

Was sent this razor to try. It allows you to keep stubble which is fantastic. Brilliant for edges too.

Great shaver and moisturiser Great cut and feels great

By far the best razor I have used by Gillette or Braun. Excellent attachments for use of different styles. Gives a closer shave when needed to really refresh the skin and does not leave skin dry or prone to sensitivity. Overall excellent product and highly recommended for everyone. I say this as my wife stole it to shave her legs and she thoroughly enjoyed the results.

I love this wet shaver and it comes with different shave heads so depends on how long your beard is and the face moisturiser which helps with your face so I totally recommend guys buy this or try it as my boyfriend loves how my face looks nw i used it

I was surprised how precise it is. I have quite a few shavers but using this one to get the precise jaw line. It is also much quieter than the other ones I have. Very much recommended.

After receiving the item which came in a lovely expensive looking box with the rich branding of King C. Gillette, I was looking forward to using the item. Lightweight and extremely portable and great it can be used in the shower. I intimate found the twisting head function a little difficult to manoeuvre especially on tidying up. I found the closeness of the shave very satisfactory. I was also impressed that the device came with a charger that could be used in a shaver port in most bathrooms as in the past I’ve had trimmers I do not have this. I used a guard or trimming my beard and found a left a nice length of stubble. One thing that did initially confuse me is whether the item is part of the Gillette shaving company despite the name the branding, the look of the item and the colours used I do not associate with Gillette. I also like the fact Braun produce the product as a reputable brand, it gave me more confidence in the item as I do not associate Gillette with electronic razors/trimmers. If I was to buy this item I will be generally happy with the outcome however with so much competition in this market it doesn’t do enough to differentiate itself as a leader from other similar items. 6.5/10

I’ve had this trimmer about two weeks so have used it several times. It works well for trimming shortish hair (under 5mm). Not had snags or pulls and it does a smooth job. Handy that I can rinse under a running tap as well when using/to help keep it clean. I have found it isn’t quite as easy for edging/trimming the very top lip, it doesn’t get quite close enough. But it is close enough to be a relatively neat ‘finish’ Being smaller than I’m used to it’s easy and light weight to handle, but doesn’t feel flimsy. What I did notice, and it could just be a packaging error. This model comes with 3 comb lengths - 1mm, 3mm and 5mm as it states on the box. But the instructions included show it should have 4 for hair trimmers and a couple of other fixings. It would be nice if they weren’t so generic, but it’s a not big issue by any means. Good all around!
