[This review was submitted after receiving an incentive ( free sample).] uper premium design: nice weight to it, the shape and material of the rubber grip feels brilliant, perfect fit and finish, and top quality materials were used in the construction. It looks and feels way more expensive than its asking price. Industrial design and build quality is all just as you'd expect from a company like Braun. I feel like it's perfect for, and could be your main or only razor, if you're anything like the fella in the marketing shots - i.e. short and sculpted beard and/or stubble. If you normally go for an all-over close shave, it'll do it in a pinch, but it's not really intended for that; more of a purpose-built and much better version of the little pop-up trimmer that many foil or rotary electric razors typically have. For me it's been a brilliant for trimming and tidying up sideburns, unruly back of neck and that kind of thing. I think it'd also be ideal for getting rid of the main bulk of a longer beard (which foil and rotary shavers just can't really bite into), and then if you wanted, finish off with something designed for a close shave. Other minor points just worth a brief mention: the manual talks about some accessories that aren't included - a 2mm comb, two 'body combs' (0mm and 3mm), and a protective cap. So it seems that at least as-is, it's not necessarily intended to double up as a body shaver. Not sure if these accessories can be purchased separately, were ditched as part of last minute changes, or if they perhaps plan on doing some kind of 'Stylemaster Pro/Body' SKU later on, with different accessories. No lock-out mechanism for travel, though the power button is well recessed, and requires a firm push to activate. Battery life: been using it for about a week and have yet to unwrap the charger, it's still going strong on the initial charge it came with in the box.
