I get a close shave with this razor but find the cost of replacement blades to be very expensive. Overall would recommend.

The shave is smooth without irritation due to the blades and works best when used with the gillet shaving cream

These blades give a close and even shave with very little drag when using a new blade. Using quality blades like these give less chance of developing razor bumps and rash.
