I bought this as I was very impressed with the Heritage DE razor I bought a year ago. The king c Gillette safety razor is just as good. Love the handle. Smooth and close shave. Highly recommended. 

First class mild safety razor, great to see Gillette making safety razors again, hope there’s more to come. 

Iconic DES Razor, great price. Look out for deals, sometimes you get blades added for literally 40p instead of a fiver!

Terrific razor. Great weight, very smooth shave and comfortable. The first time I used it I thought it was not working properly. There was no feeling of the hair being cut or pulled. Very smooth and a close shave with no pressure needed on the blade.. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

I was always warned off of these type of razors because I have sensitive skin so had never really considered them. Seeing Gillette finally release one made me decide to give it a go. I won't lie, the result is absolutely fantastic. Everything about the razor just works brilliantly, both the weight and feel in my opinion is spot on. On my first shave I shaved round my neck and around my Adam's apple and didn't catch myself once. On second go I found that making your skin warmer than I previously had (ie putting hot water direct onto my skin for longer than I had done before) actually made the shave even better. On now researching this further, I simply cannot find another razor at this price point and quality anywhere else. I definitely recommend this to anyone thinking of using an old fashioned razor and have already bought one for my father and brother.

A very well balanced and weighted razor, and when combined with Gillette DE blades, produces a very smooth, close shave with no tugging or pulling on the skin 

Bought to replace my DE razor. Very weighty razor, old fashioned maybe, but it gives me a very good shave. The matching blades are alright but I have, and do,use better. Overall a very good razor package.
