Smashing razor very nicely weighted and a terrific close shave

The advertisement for this razor popped up on Facebook one day and I decided to purchase one to see what it was like, I have to say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. This razor is the awesome it glides across your face for the smoothness shave ever,

To say I was skeptical is an understatement, however now after buying this I will not be going back to disposable shavers.  This really is excellent value for money it’s really well weighted and looks far more expensive than it was.  I was a bit cautious using it at first but if you take your time confidence in it will improve and it gives a really good shave.  I would highly recommend this shaver to anybody it really is excellent value for money I’m sure you will not be disappointed. 

Thought this was gonna be the business, how disappointed was I! It looks andfeels quality, but the shave it gives is rubbish. I have to finish off with my Clean Shaven razor! Am I doing something wrong, as it doesn’t reflect the previous reviews on here? Help much appreciated.

Ordered my king c safety razor 2 days ago and it arrived quickly and very well boxed, by a lovely lady from Hermes. On opening the box i was immediately impressed by the look and quality of the razor. My first shave went very well and although i'm new to de shaving, no cuts and a smooth close shave was achieved. The construction of the razor is super impressive i think this will last a lifetime easily with care. No hesitation to order from Gillette in the future. Thanks, James.

I have used a Muhle for years, I needed a back up razor so I bought this one. This is now my main razor, really smooth close shave, I have ordered another one

Outstanding, totally impressed with the King C double edge razor, the best shave I have had in ages and the blades are a good cheap price too, it might be old technology, but the quality of the razor and shave experience is fantastic

This is a well made and designed razor for a great price. Weighty so handles great, not too aggressive cut so more gentle on the skin. Amazing value for something that feels solid and well made. I bought another I was so impressed. I highly recommend this. Blades are great too.

Don't waste your time with multiblade throw aways and cartridges anymore... buy this and experience a real shave. Excellent quality.

I've just started with my new razor after many years of using multi blade razors. The shave is great makes me wonder why the multi blade razors became so popular. I do have a couple of minor gripes though. Firstly the razor feels unbalanced and top heavy; it feels as though the handle should be longer. Secondly the corners of the blade holder are quite sharp and can poke you when shaving, more rounded edges would make it more comfortable.
