I bought this as it was on offer and I thought it was worth a punt. I am a daily shaver and use Gillette already. The unit arrived nicely packaged and I charged for the first 6 hours. My shaving routine probably lasts around 7 to 10 minutes so I find I have to charge every other day. The shave feels nice and warm but doesn’t feel particularly close, I was using a shaving cream so ordered the Gillette gel to see if that was better. It’s OK but not as close as their normal shavers. I find that the moisturising bar on the blade isn’t that effective so towards the end of a shave it feels like my face is quite dry even with rinsing the shaver in water. I think it’s a nice idea but I wouldn’t be too pleased if I had spent the full price on it. I can see this being put away after I have used the blades and going back to the more traditional shavers. 

To say I was very dissaponted with this razor is an understatement. Yes its a lovely feeling on the skin withtheheat but I have to finish off with my old Gillette razor together the close shave ive been used to. Its a complete waste of money.

Battery charge lasts one day not good 

Initially it was giving me a great shave then after few days a fault has developed. I will provide another review when it is repaired or replaced

I derived no benefit from the heated bar either in the shave or experience. The switch is in a position that is repeatedly being switched off in use. I would have expected the charge cable to be USB or a 3 pin plug. The handle is comfortable in the hand and the magnetic stand convenient and useful. I have requested a refund that is yet to arrive.

First bad point I noticed: Charge time 6 hours for 18 minutes of use. I was excited to receive this product, but it was extremely underwhelming. The heated element is literally a small metal bar below the blades, it's not the actual blades. This was nothing more than a gimmick. Certainly not comparable to a hot towel shave and due to its position you have to ensure the surface area of the shaver is fully flat against your skin. I had about 4 days of stubble. My hair is pretty thin. It felt a bit rough, so I had to trim with my electric trimmer first. Absolutely nothing special and is literally no different to a regular Gillette shaver / razor. Save yourself £££ and just get a normal one. Hot water will provide a better effect.

I think this is one of the best razors I have used so much so I have bought a spare razor as it was a great price. It shaves so close and smooth and the heating element works exceptionally well,many thanks Gillette.

I bought the razor with 32 blades. it did not last 6 months. The razor light is flashing when I try to turn it on, then turns off. There is no more heat. I contacted Gillette and they are being totally useless and are ignoring me. I am not the first one having this electrical issue with this product. Poor design, poor engineering, don't waste your money.

Not as good a shave as i have with my normal Gillette razor. Maybe i have used more blades and have vibration
