How do I change the blades of my Gillette Labs Heated Razor?
All of the Gillette Labs products, including the stylish Gillette Labs Black and Gold edition, operate in the same way. As such, it is easy to exchange your blades across the entire Gillette Labs range. To remove your spent Gillette Labs heated razor blades, just hold the handle in one hand and push down on the FlexDisc circle in the direction of the old cartridge. It should release so you can now attach a blade head. Push the end of your handle into a cartridge while it is in its cartridge holder. Once it clicks into place, the Gillette Labs blades cartridge will come away from the holder as you withdraw the handle.
How do I use Gillette Labs Heated Razor Starter Kit?
The Gillette Labs razor starter kit has everything you need to enjoy close, comfortable and precise shaves. Charge your handle up using the supplied magnetic docking station and then turn it on by pressing the button. Adjust it to your desired temperature and apply shaving gel or cream to your facial hair. Use light strokes in the direction of your hair growth and rinse frequently. The FlexDisc technology will adjust to the contours of your face as you shave. After you have finished shaving with your Gillette Labs Heated Razor, apply a post-shave treatment to moisturise your skin.
How do I clean my Gillette Labs Heated Razor?
Like all Gillette razors, it is important to keep your Gillette Labs heated men's razor clean when it is not in use. To do so, you should rinse the Gillette Labs Heated razor blades in water until all of the shaving gel or foam has been removed. Check that there are no hairs trapped between the blades, too, and swill them in water until they are clear. Don't be tempted to tap or knock on your Gillette Labs blades. Like the razors in the Gillette Labs Exfoliation Razor range, this can cause needless issues with the blades' mountings. Stick to rinsing. Once clean, allow the handle to dry out naturally on its magnetic docking stand, supplied with every Gillette Labs Heated Razor Starter Kit.

My first heated razor turned up with bits missing, then after 2 weeks the heated bar stopped heating up, customer service is terrible, takes days to reply, sent it back and I had to chase them up after 3 weeks to see what was happing, sent a replacement eventually. For 3 weeks later the second one stopped working so I was prepared to try a third time lucky but since I got the razor in the Xmas sale off 48 quid. Now they are 129.99 then have just refunded me your 48 quid instead of the razor. I will never use or buy Gillette products again I’ve gone over to a different brand and let’s hope they are better than this total useless brand
This razor offers a fantastic shave. Unfortunately, the reliability of the internal battery lets the overall experience down. I had 12 months of excellent shaving experience then the charging failed. One charge, one shave then it died. Be aware there is a 2 year guarantee (which I was unaware of) which, judging by previous reviews, is important to know. Gillette have a good product here but need to address the charging issues reflected in many feedback comments.
Not good after 2 months the rechargeable battery stopped working customer care service appalling
Really poor designed ... 3 months and it's stopped working .. battery fault. .. read up about it .. I spent over £100 for an item that stopped working after about 10 uses
Thought I was buying a starter kit with 8 blades only got 2 also did not expect to need a plug adaptor feel very short changed feel like I was ripped off by marketing!!!
I love the Gillette Labs heated razor. I had one and when it stopped charging I bought another. The first lasted 18 months, the second unfortunately less than 12 weeks and used only three times a week. Same issue as the first - the bar won’t heat. Very, very disappointing and an awaiting a reply from P&G. I bought it December 24 but didn’t start using until April. Broken after 4 months - I did buy it on offer but still you would expect it to last longer. When it works - great razor but it has to work. Would I purchase again - will see what the follow up is like but you buy a razor for reliability and this doesn’t appear very reliable.
Less than a year old heater stopped working then started to work again now it's flashing apparently battery is no good I will have to purchase a new one
Amazing razor , heated is really different and good , gets closest shave to cutthroat razor I’ve ever had , blades last at least 5 times longer than previous best Gillette razor . Amazing 10 out of 10
