A very uncomfortable shave

Very very disappointed with my recent Gillette razor purchase, I find this old style razor both heavy and cumbersom in use, I've tried it 3 times so far, and I do not envisage using it again. I have now gone back to using my old 5 bladed razor. Yours disapointingly

I really like this razor, it is a good weight, and gives me a nice close shave. The handle really adds to the balance of the razor, and enhances the Shaving experience.

Quality Razor

The King C safety razor is a quality piece of kit at an entry level price. The head is similar to a Muhle or Merkur razor and gives a nice shave. It's mild in aggression but you can up your game with a sharper and more aggressive blade. The razor is a good weight and feels secure in the hand, although I'd prefer cross hatch knurling on the handle. I'm glad I made the purchase and opened me up to you world of safety razors.

Quality shave

Old school quality and a fantastic shave and no plastic anywhere. I've had tried lots of razors over the years but this has really surprised me. Nice to hold and shaves smooth and close with the added bonus of not plastics anywhere, not even in the packaging.

Traditional shave

Having looked at previous reviews I thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did, it took  a couple of shaves to remember how to use what was once called a safety razor, but it’s great. My only complaint would be that it’s awkward to put in a new blade, the top has to come off completely unlike the older types that opened up to slip the blade in. Lovely weight and nice solid feel. I won’t go back to a multi blade again.
