Was great - until it stopped working
1I purchased this razor in January of last year - it's been great up until the last few days where its now stopped charging completely. I've logged a case with support but am not sure where I stand as I've had the razor for more than 12 months. I certainly won't be purchasing another, even though I've just bought another large pack of blades for it. Hopefully they offer a swap out service, their website states it should last for 5 years, its only just lasted a year. Looks like there are a number of other people with the same issue and it appears to be a battery issue with the razor handle. Avoid until this is resolved - it's a lot of money to spend on something that doesn't last.
Great Shave But.........
3The Gillette Labs gives a great shave but I recently went on holiday and took a Fusion with me. I got as good a shave and it felt the same as the heated razor when I held it under the hot tap. I don't know why the blades are more expensive because I can't think they are more expensive to produce. The nose slicer blade is common to both blades but the blunt indicator has been removed from the new one. Just as well because I am capable of telling when a new blade is required and may have thrown out ones that are still sharp.
Heated razor
3Not as good as past gillette razors..not as close and more strokes needed for close and moustache under nostrils is impossible to get close...first blade I used the white soap strip fell out after couple swipes..heat bar is instant but I shave in shower so don't really notice it.

5Brilliant shave and the warming bar makes for a superb experience. The razor is well constructed and looks good. Best shave and razor I have had.

Gimmick Razor
1Great sales pitch, but offers little, It was a gift, but failed with charging after about 6 months, handle just flashes but no longer heats up, it is a sealed unit so you cannot change the battery which renders it no better than a basic razor, it is heavy and cumbersome and not user friendly for your travel bag. Better razors on the market without the heated gimmick👎🏻
Best razer I've used
5The item was well packaged, the razer is a nice quality. I love a hot experience and this does not disappoint, I was surprised by how you can feel the heat even using cold water as I tested. The blades are sharp and cut well, I love the clean up blade however becareful because you could cut your self with it if not careful under nose etc.. Alround a great shave and experience.
Heated Razor. My second has failed. ***DO NOT BUY***
1Hi there, I have purchased two of these heated razors and within approx 18 months both have failed, one quicker than the other. I have one for a travel bag and one stays in my house. Both have flashing lights and the razor will no longer heat up. I have read many reviews that say similar. AVOID THESE UNTIL THEY FIT A RELIABLE BATTERY
